ABOUT US

Rodarte Consulting is a housing development consulting firm dedicated to providing financial advisory services to profit and non-profit developers and government agencies. Our insight and focus-driven nature ensures a smooth process from acquisition to construction of both new and renovated developments.

For over 25 years, Jacqueline Rodarte-Valle, President of Rodarte Consulting, has been front and center of the affordable housing development landscape. Her experience consists of working in both the private and public sectors with an emphasis in affordable housing development, such organizations include City of Dallas, County of Los Angeles Community Development Commission, and Cesar Chavez Foundation.

 As President of Rodarte Consulting she takes on special projects, for instance, program design and expenditure of federal dollars allocated to government agencies and nonprofits, for the benefit of low-income households and small businesses. Her experience spans all housing-related project types and services. While at Cesar Chavez Foundation, Mrs. Rodarte-Valle was responsible for overseeing the acquisition, new construction and/or rehabilitation of projects throughout the southwest United States; responsibilities included identifying and securing various financing sources, including Low Income Housing Tax Credits, HOME Partnership, Neighborhood Stabilization Program, Tax Increment and Community Development Block Grant funds.

Over the years, Mrs. Rodarte-Valle has expended more than $40 million in federal funds for the creation of over 800 housing units throughout the southwest area, and more recently over $18 million in CARES Act funds aimed to assist small businesses impacted by the pandemic. It’s also important to note that Mrs. Rodarte-Valle has experience overseeing at-risk and resyndication transactions for the purpose of minimizing an organization’s financial risks in today’s market conditions. WHAT WE DO

Through effective consulting, Rodarte Consulting provides financial solutions to development companies and government agencies looking to develop quality housing projects in their respective communities. Our advisory services will guide your development team from Pre-development to Close-Out. Below is brief summary of the services we offer throughout the various stages.

ADVISORY SERVICES

We provide advisory services to government agencies and development companies. Advisory services may include collaborating with local agencies in the preparation of procurement documents and/or responding to requests for proposals, as well as analyzing a project’s feasibility and viability for the community it intends to serve.

PRE-DEVELOPMENT

We conduct the necessary research to ensure the proposed development is financially feasible and viable with the available funding for that area.

CONSTRUCTION

We provide critical guidance through the entire construction process, including, keeping with the team’s schedule and development budget.

CLOSE-OUT

We offer support in achieving stabilized occupancy and permanently converting the project’s debt.
